Mr. Farr

asked the Minister of Health (1) what is the planned expenditure on new hospital construction in the County of Leicestershire during each of the next five financial years;

(2) what is the planned expenditure on new hospital construction in the City of Leicester during each of the next five financial years.

For the reasons I have given in Cmnd. 3000, it would not be in the interests of the flexibility which I think essential in the building programme to indicate so far in advance the provisional expenditure planned for particular areas.
