§ 87. Sir J. Edenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the part played by the Brigade of Gurkhas in helping to end confrontation in Malaysia, the Under-Secretary of State will on his official visit to Nepal discuss with the Government of that country the measures to be taken to maintain the brigade as a strong defensive shield in the area.
§ Mr. George ThomsonMy noble Friend left Nepal on 30th June. He had no discussion with the Nepalese Government about the Brigade of Gurkhas.
