§ Mr. PeartI would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on 25th January to my hon. Friend the Member for Faversham (Mr. Boston). The growers who are in favour of an Apple and Pear Development Council have about 59 per cent. of the acreage of apples that would be subject to levy and about 58 per cent. of the corresponding acreage of pears.
