HC Deb 21 February 1966 vol 725 c14W
Mr. Lomas

asked the Minister of Health why completion of the new hospital at Lindley, Huddersfield, has been delayed two months; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. K. Robinson

Under the terms of the contract the contractor is entitled to seek a postponement of the completion date where this is necessary because of unforeseen delays due to labour or supply difficulties or inclement weather. The delay in this scheme, arising from a combination of these factors, is not excessive for a contract of over two million pounds.
