§ 133. Mr. Costainasked the Minister of Transport whether she is aware that, since the last traffic count on the A.259 trunk road between Hammonds Corner and Brenzett crossroads, work has commenced on a further power station at Dungeness and that this stretch of road is now becoming more dangerous; and what steps she is taking to remedy this hazard.
§ Mr. SwinglerWe agree that the general improvement of this stretch of road is desirable as funds become available for this purpose. I hope that the first of these schemes can be prepared for a start to be made in the next financial year.
