§ Mr. George ThomasOn 30th September, 1965, the Chief Constable of St. Helens asked the Chief Constable of Liverpool to provide a senior police officer to investigate certain matters concerning Sergeant Griffiths. The report of this investigation is at present being considered by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
