§ Mr. RossI have approved in principle the building of an old people's home containing 26 single and seven double bedrooms at Forrest Street, Airdrie. On 2nd November the town council estimated the cost of the home at £155,000. Since this seemed unusually high the Department wrote on 26th November asking for further information: the town council's reply is awaited.
