asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether it was with his authority that

fining only to veterinary surgeons the sale of certain drugs which are not controlled by the Therapeutic Substances Act, thereby excluding from farmers the opportunity to purchase these drugs at competitive prices from pharmacists.

I am not at present aware of any complaints that would justify an investigation into the arrangements for supplying those veterinary drugs that are not subject to statutory controls, but I shall be glad to examine any specific matter which the hon. Member may wish to bring to my notice.
