HC Deb 21 December 1966 vol 738 cc362-3W
Mr. Biffen

asked the Minister of Labour how many cases of proposed changes in incomes during the first six months of 1967 arising from presumed increases in productivity have been notified to his Department; how many have been authorised; how many rejected; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Gunter

Some 150 cases linked in one way or another with productivity have been notified to my Department.

Where necessary further information is being sought, and the cases are being considered urgently in the light of the White Paper, Cmnd. 3150, and of the interim report of the National Board for Prices and Incomes on Productivity and Pay during the Period of Severe Restraint (Cmnd. 3167) published on 15th December.
