§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the President of the Board of Trade why, in selecting five centres for the new Board of Trade Investment Grants Offices, the north-east of Scotland has been omitted; and if he will now rectify this by selecting one such centre in the City of Aberdeen.
§ Mr. JayWe chose Glasgow because this is convenient for the great majority of potential claimant for investment grants in Scotland. It would not be economical to set up additional offices in Scotland.
