§ 56. Mr. William Hamiltonasked the President of the Board of Trade how many new jobs have been created in the Highlands of Scotland in the last two years.
§ Mr. JayFirms who have been offered financial assistance under the Local Employment Acts during the two years ended October, 1966, for projects in the Highlands and Islands estimated that they would provide additional employment for 1,200. In addition, the Highlands and Islands Development Board has approved projects estimated to provide a further 900 jobs.
