§ Mr. Ednyfed Hudson Daviesasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that in registering a company the country in which the registered office is situated may be named as Great Britain or England but not Wales; and if he will take steps to remedy this situation.
§ Mr. JayThere is no objection to the memorandum of association of a company stating that the registered office of the company is to be situated in "Wales" or in "England or Wales", if that is the case. It would not be sufficient, because of differences between Scottish and English law, to state that the registered office is to be situated in Great Britain.
