§ 15. Mr. Raphael Tuckasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will introduce legislation to prohibit the use by persons offering vehicles for hire of the words cab and taxi to describe vehicles not licensed as such in the Metropolitan area.
§ Miss BaconMy right hon. Friend has been examining proposals to this effect made to him by representatives of the London taxicab trade. Further discussions are to be held with them next month.
