Mr. Gunter

In Great Britain at 1st July, 1966, some 39,000 males were employed at Naval Dockyards including 25,000 engaged on shipbuilding and ship repairing. At other establishments an estimated 10,000 male operatives were engaged in the building and repairing of naval vessels at mid-February, 1966, the latest date for which estimates are available. The number of administrative, technical and clerical workers employed on naval work at these other establishments is not known.
