§ 113. Mr. Varleyasked the Postmaster-General if he will consider providing postmen who need to use cycles to fulfil their duties with more reflective material either on their uniforms or their cycles so as to minimise the dangers to them when cycling during the hours of darkness.
§ Mr. Joseph SlaterWe are at present trying out fluorescent armbands in four offices. All Post-Office cycles have the statutory red rear lights and red reflectors and also white mudguards. Reflector pedals are available for use where street lighting is poor or non-existent.
