§ Mr. Tom FraserThe number of excise licences current for general goods vehicles over 1½ tons unladen weight at the end of the years 1950, 1960 and 1964 was respectively 511,325; 585,431; 640,500. The number of vehicle examiners in post throughout the Ministry's traffic areas at the end of these years was 231, 278 and 335.
