HC Deb 31 May 1965 vol 713 c146W
Sir C. Osborne

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware that new tropical diseases are being brought into Great Britain by immigrants, often without being diagnosed until they have become a danger to the community; what steps he is taking to check this new danger; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. K. Robinson

I am advised that the small number of cases of tropical disease brought into this country in recent years do not constitute any danger to the community at large.
