Mr. McInnesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many applications have been received by Glasgow Corporation each year since January, 1961, from private landlords for a standard amenities grant which provides that the landlord can obtain up to £155 for installing bath, wash hand basin, hot water supply and water closet.
§ Mr. RossI regret that the number of such applications cannot be identified, but during these years the corporation paid only one standard grant to a private landlord, in 1961.
