§ Mr. McInnesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the extent of the shortage of residential accommodation in Scotland for children with severe mental handicaps.
§ Mr. RossRegional Hospital Boards estimate that the shortage of hospital accommodation for mentally handicapped children requiring in-patient treatment amounts to about 850 places. It is hoped that by 1968 about 500 additional beds for children will have been provided.
