§ Mr. Rhodesasked the President of the Board of Trade what regulations exist for governing the accuracy of measuring instruments for fuel oil in quantities above 20 gallons; and whether he will make a statement concerning his intentions in this respect.
§ Mr. DarlingNo regulations exist at present for controlling instruments of this type. The Board of Trade intends to frame proposals as soon as practicable with a view to making regulations for that purpose, but a number of items of subordinate legislation under the Weights and Measures Act, 1963, will need to be given priority.
