§ 47. Mr. George Y. Mackieasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will seek to amend Section 2 of the Agriculture Act, 1958, so as to provide that, for the purposes of arbitration, the rent payable should be defined as that which might reasonably be expected to be paid to a prudent landlord by a willing tenant.
§ Mr. PeartI shall be considering the rent provisions of the Agriculture Act, 1958, and the Agricultural Holdings Act, 1948, as part of a general review of the agricultural landlord-and-tenant legislation; but I cannot promise this or any other specific amendment.
