§ 48. Mr. Blakerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is aware of the difficulties caused to the horticultural industry by the increase in imports of cucumber and tomatoes; and if he will take steps to regulate such imports.
§ Mr. HoyThe general level of imports of cucumbers and tomatoes does not appear to be such as to justify measures of regulation additional to the protection and assistance already given to the home industry.
