§ Mr. Taverneasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the lack of exhibition facilities in Britain for British manufacturers comparable to those of their overseas competitors, and of the importance of the provision of a first class national exhibition centre to the 337W export drive, Her Majesty's Government will take action for the building at Crystal Palace of such a national exhibition centre.
