Captain Kerby

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many assessments of properties in Shoreham by Sea, Southwick, Lancing, Sompting, Ferring by Sea, Angmering-on-Sea, East Preston, Rustington and Littlehampton, Sussex, by the valuation officer concerned have been varied on appeal.

By 5th March courts of the West Sussex Local Valuation Panel had given reductions on appeals by ratepayers arising from assessments in the 1963 revaluation lists as follows:

Shoreham-by Sea U.D. … 23
Southwick U.D. … 98
Litlehampton U.D. … 17
Worthing R.D. … 36
