(2) what information he has as to how many housebuilding firms were active in Scotland during 1964 or the most recent year for which statistics are available.
§ Mr. BoydenIt is not possible to provide separate figures for the three countries with any accuracy as many firms are active in all three. There were about 15,000 firms engaged in housebuilding in Great Britain in 1964; of these about 13,000 had head offices in England, 1,200 in Scotland, and 800 in Wales.
