HC Deb 09 March 1965 vol 708 c66W
Mr. Evelyn King

asked the Minister of Public Building and Works whether he is aware of the shortage of plasterboard and that building is being held up in the Weymouth area; and what steps he is taking to relieve the shortage.

Mr. Boyden

My right hon. Friend is aware that there is a general shortage of plasterboard and that this is causing difficulties, which have been aggravated by the duplicate orders placed by many builders and merchants. Considerable additional manufacturing capacity will become available during the year.
