§ Mr. PrenticeIn 1961–62 and the three subsequent sessions this Institute deferred, respectively, 40, 39, 36 and 48 prospective entrants. Those deferred are usually offered places in the following year. The reasons for deferment include the need for prospective students to improve their practical and educational qualifications as well as the limits of residential accommodation.
