§ 29. Mr. Ogdenasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that there are at least four vacant factories in the Edwards Lane area of Speke, Liverpool and that they are well situated for the ancillary development of the motor industry in the area; and if he will encourage commercial concerns to use these factory buildings and sites.
§ Mr. JayI am aware of only two vacant factories in the area mentioned; in accordance with the usual practice in development districts my officials have already shown them to several firms. Two other factories in the area have been let or sold recently.
