HC Deb 04 March 1965 vol 707 c301W
100. Dame Irene Ward

asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs whether he will take steps to include suitable women in his regional organisations.

Mr. William Rodgers

Members of the regional economic planning councils, whether they be men or women, will be chosen for the contribution which they can make to the councils' work.

101. Mr. Fisher

asked the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Economic Affairs whether he intends to establish an economic planning council for the South-East.

Mr. William Rodgers

I have nothing to add to what my right hon. Friend said in his Statement in the House on 10th December. The review of the South-East is still in progress.
