HC Deb 02 March 1965 vol 707 c226W
Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in view of the termination of the discretion of local authorities to proceed with improvements to school buildings costing under £2,000, he will give an assurance that provision will continue to be approved for temporary classrooms in overcrowded schools in Sutton Coldfield.

Mr. Crosland

It is for the local education authority to decide how their minor works allocation should be used.
