§ Miss Quennellasked the Secretary of State for Defence why the cost of the Fine Weather Telegram Service has doubled this year.
§ Mr. MillanThe charge for this Meteorological Service has been increased by about 40 per cent. this year as compared with last year. This is because income in recent years has fallen below the cost of the service, as a result of increases in the cost of telegrams and in the number of telegrams despatched.
