§ Miss Quennellasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many applications for licences to abstract water from all sources of supply have been received by the appropriate authorities to date; and how many he expects to receive by 1st July.
§ Mr. MacCollRiver authorities in England and Wales had received by 1st June rather more than 3,200 applications for licences to abstract water. No worthwhile estimate is possible of the number that will have been received by 1st July.
