§ Mr. RossAvailable public supplies at present amount to about 410 million gallons daily against a demand of 380 m.g.d. Estimated demand is expected to rise to 430 m.g.d. by 1970, to 470 m.g.d. by 1975 and to 510 m.g.d. by 1980. It is not possible to estimate what the available supplies will be in these years since this depends on the progress in developing new sources.
