§ 34. Mr. Doddsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, what consideration he has given to an upward revision of the quantities and types of food recommended for school dinners, set out in the Ministry of Education Circular No. 290, drawn up in 1955, but now considered to be no longer in keeping with current standards of eating for those adolescent boys and girls who are well developed in stature and engage in considerable physical activities.
§ Mr. PrenticeMy right hon. Friend is at present considering whether any change is necessary in the quantities and types of food recommended in Circular 290 for the school dinner, together with the financial implications of any such change.
