§ Mr. Harold Walkerasked the Minister of Labour if he will take steps to obtain the more widespread establishment of joint accident prevention committees in industry.
§ Mr. GunterI entirely accept that the organisation of works' safety cannot be fully effective without close co-operation between management and employees. I propose to consult with the British Employers' Confederation and the Trades Union Congress through the Industrial Safety Sub-Committee of my National Joint Advisory Council about the further 23W steps which might be taken to encourage the development of joint accident prevention committees.
