§ 86. Mr. Dellasked the President of the Board of Trade what research into the problems of expanding exports is being undertaken in his Department; how many persons are engaged in such research; and whether he proposes to increase the number of persons employed on it.
§ Mr. RedheadThe Board of Trade is constantly studying various aspects of the problems of expanding exports, and a considerable proportion of its staff is in some degree concerned with these problems. Since they also carry out other duties, it is not practicable to segregate them. Additional staff are being allocated to work on exports as necessary.
