§ Mr. CrossmanI first learnt most of the proposals in Command Paper 2050 from speeches delivered by right hon. Friends of mine from the Opposition Front Bench. But there were a few clothes left on the bank unstolen. By not including any proposals to deal with exorbitant rents and land speculators for example the White Paper failed to tackle some of the worst housing problems.
