Butcherasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will now state the target fixed by him for new houses and flats to be built in 1965, and indicate how many are expected to be built by private enterprise, how many by local authorities, and how many by housing associations.
§ Mr. MellishAt present my right hon. Friend expects that the number of dwellings completed in Great Britain in 1965 will be about 400,000; 7,000 by housing associations, 160,000 by public authorities and 230,000 by private enterprise.
