Whether they will make a statement on the inquiry carried out by Sir Donald Stokes into the problems of British arms exports.

My Lords, Sir Donald Stokes has completed his inquiry and has submitted a number of recommendations to my right honourable friends the Secretary of State for Defence and the Minister of Aviation. My right honourable friends and I are grateful to Sir Donald Stokes for carrying out this enquiry. His recommendations are being studied by the Government and we hope to make a Statement about our conclusions after the forthcoming Recess.
