§ Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, how many children in the county of Inverness are being taught in classes with more than 30 and with more than 40 pupils, respectively, and in which schools; and how many children there were in each of the latter classes.
§ Mr. RossIn August of this year, 2,826 primary pupils and 2,181 secondary pupils were in classes of between 30 and 40. On the same date, there were 462 primary pupils and 166 secondary pupils in classes of over 40.
