HC Deb 04 August 1965 vol 717 cc362-3W
Dr. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he is aware that the Sarisbury County Secondary Modern School can only accommodate half the pupils needing its services unless the teaching schedules are to be curtailed; and if he will treat the extension of this school as a matter of urgency whatever the cuts in the school-building programme.

Mr. Crosland

Additional accommodation for this school is being built and is expected to be ready during the course of next term. Adaptations to some existing buildings will follow and will be completed by the summer of 1966. No cuts in the building programme announced for this or other schools are being made.
