HC Deb 04 August 1965 vol 717 cc361-2W
Mr. Farr

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will approve the inclusion in the next building programme of the Leicestershire Education Authority of a new primary school at Huncote, in view of the existing overstrained and insanitary conditions.

Mr. Crosland

The proposal to include a project for the Huncote primary school in the 1967–68 building programme is being considered by my Department together with other proposals put forward by the Leicestershire Local Education Authority. I am not at present able to say whether it will be possible for this project to be included.

30, and 20 pupils; and if he will give the average number in each class throughout the city and for the whole country.

Mr. Crosland

The table below gives the information. Figures for England and Wales, for 1965, are not yet available.
