§ Mr. Tom FraserI am taking the recommendations of the County Surveyors Society into account in the preparation of plans for the improvement 293W of inter-urban roads in the 1970s. Whether new or improved roads should be motorways or all-purpose trunk roads will need to be decided in each case in the light of all the relevant factors, the most important of which are the nature and anticipated volume of traffic and the relative cost of construction.
