HC Deb 02 August 1965 vol 717 c219W
62. Mr. Corfield

asked the Minister of Land and Natural Resources what progress he has made in regard to a national survey of land use; and if he will give priority to the collection of details of derelict land capable of reclamation for development or for use in agriculture or forestry.

Mr. Willey

The Natural Resources Advisory Committee has made good progress in considering the availability of information about land use in England and Wales. They expect to put proposals to me in the autumn.

Information on derelict land in England and Wales is being obtained from local authorities by my right hon. Friends the Minister of Housing and Local Government and the Secretary of State for Wales.
