HC Deb 28 April 1965 vol 711 c55W
77. Sir R. Russell

asked the Minister of Transport how many of the persons killed on the roads during the five days of the Easter holiday were pedestrians.

Mr. Tom Fraser

The provisional figures issued daily during holiday periods do not distinguish pedestrian casualties. This, however, is part of the information being obtained for the special analysis of the Easter casualties for which I have called.

78. Sir R. Russell

asked the Minister of Transport if he will order an investigation into the causes of the road accidents involving deaths and serious injuries during the five days of the Easter holiday.

Mr. Tom Fraser

I have already called for an urgent analysis of the accident and traffic figures over the Easter holiday period.
