§ Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will publish a list of the wholesale fruit and vegetable markets to which it is intended to give aid under the Act of 1964.
§ Mr. PeartAs I told my hon. Friend, the member for Leicester, North East (Mr. Bradley) on 24th March, any market with an actual or potential throughput of £4 million a year will be accepted as beingprima facie eligible for grant under Section 10 of the Agriculture and Horticulture Act, 1964. The following markets are already known to satisfy this criterion:—
Belfast, Birmingham, Brentford, Bristol, Cardiff, Covent Garden, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, Spitalfields and Stratford.
