Mr. Bishop

asked the Minister of Aviation if he will take steps to ensure that the manufacture and supply of electronic and other equipment for the alternative to the cancelled TSR2 project are from British sources.

We shall do our best to utilise British electronic and other equipment in any alternative to the TSR2 provided that the equipment is acceptable in performance, timescale and cost.
