§ Mr. Waldenasked the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs what assistance Her Majesty's Government have given to relieve the distress caused by hurricane Cleo in Guadeloupe.
§ Mr. G. ThomsonA gift of 10,000 francs, the equivalent of about £750, has been made to the French Red Cross Fund for Guadeloupe Hurricane Relief. Parliament will in due course be asked to vote these amounts by means of a Supplementary Estimate. In the meantime an advance has been obtained from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
