§ Mr. Arthur Pearsonasked the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement about the grant by Her Majesty's Government of £50,000 to the Atlantic College at St. Donat's, Glamorganshire.
§ Mr. G. ThomsonIt was decided in August, in response to an appeal from the Governing Body of the College, to make this grant of £50,000. Payment has been made from the Civil Contingencies Fund. A Supplementary Estimate will be laid before Parliament in due course.
I believe that the House will welcome this measure of support for an interesting experiment in international education.
