§ Commander Keransasked the Minister of Transport whether he will now take steps to ensure that lorries are compulsorily tested from time to time and that they carry a certificate of road worthiness.
§ Mr. GalbraithI would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply which I gave to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Knutsford (Sir W. Bromley-Davenport) on the 29th April. I should add that, while the Certificate of road worthiness is useful it must of necessity relate primarily to the date when it is issued.
